It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, Mervin Henry, on Dec. 14, 2023. Mervin is survived by his loving family:
His four children; Tony (Lori), Rodney, Iris (Wayne) and Joy, Nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
His 2 brothers; Aldine Henry and Howard (Cynthia) Henry. Numerous family & friends.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rose Henry, his parents, Benjamin and Emma Henry, brother, Jerry Henry, and sister in law, Marilyn Henry.
Mervin was born in Prince Albert, SK. on June 24, 1947, to Benjamin & Emma Henry. He spent his youth playing baseball, and, as an adult, enjoyed golfing, playing pool and gathering with friends and family to play cards. Mervin began working at an early age, mainly in the construction trade, he was a self-employed drywaller for 50 + years.
Mervin met the love of his life, Rose, and they married in 1972. They made a home in Prince Albert, where together they raised four children, and were later blessed with 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He loved watching sports, his cats, and visits with his grandkids.
As per Dad’s request, Cremation and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
