Iris Prokopie
Born September 1st, 1940, Iris Prokopie (nee Wasyliw) passed away in a Saskatoon
hospital on Thursday June 20, 2024 with her family at her side holding her hands.
Iris was her name, but was also called Mom, Baba, Sister, and Auntie Iris.
Iris is survived by her sons, Darrell (Shirley) and Roland (Trina) along with
grandchildren Barrett (Chantal), Ashley, Leo, Adam and Anthony, she was also
blessed with 6 great grandchildren, Dominique (Holly), Liam, Charlie, Thomas,
Nikkolai and Sebastian plus Mia a great great grandchild. Also mourning the loss
of Iris are brothers Nick, Bill, Richard and sister Elsie, along with numerous
nieces, nephews and in laws.
Iris was predeceased by her Parents Nick and Anna Wasyliw, her inlaws Frank and
Mary Prokopie, her husband Mike (2015), and son Brent (2017), Brothers John and
Pete and sister Sue.
A visitation for Iris will take place on Friday June 28, 2024 starting at 12 noon @ Mackenzie Chapel followed by the funeral service @ 1:00 PM also at Mackenzie Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Mackenzie Chapel ; Brian & Bev Stobbs ; Mark & Pedro Gyoerick ; Jordyn Jacobson ; Mel Curle
