With broken hearts the family of Jennifer Ochieng (nee Scherman) announce her sudden passing on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the age of 43 years. Jennifer’s loving memory will be cherished by her children: Monica and Isaac Ochieng; mother, Mary Scherman; siblings and their families: Tyler (Laura) Scherman – Daivan and Daxon; Sara (Ryan) Glover – James, Aiden and Brynne; Mark (Belinda) Scherman – Curtis, Remy, Thayer; Cameron (Brittany) Scherman – Veronica, Jersey and Spencer.
Vigil of Prayer will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 – 7:30 p.m. and Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024 – 1:00 p.m. both services taking place at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, Battleford, SK. For those unable to attend the services a recording will be posted following the service. Memorial donations in Jennifer’s loving memory can be made the Archdiocese of Regina – PO Box 1546 Station Main Regina, SK S4P 3C4 or to the Canadian Mental Health Association – 250 Dundas St West Suite 500 Toronto, ON M5T 2Z5. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Eternal Memories Funeral Service and Crematorium – Vanessa Macnab Funeral Director.
