Obituary
It is with great sadness, the family of Linda Lee Motilaga of Stenen, SK, born November 24, 1945, the wife of Roman Motilaga. announce her peaceful passing in Saskatoon, SK, on May 23, 2024, at the age 78 years.
Linda married the love of her life Roman Motilaga, on October 12, 1968, in Outlook, SK. It was not too long after that they would start their family, and they were blessed with their first daughter, Raelynn in 1970, and in 1971 they were blessed again with a second daughter, Leisa. In 1983, Roman and Linda moved to Stenen, SK. Linda worked as a care aid in Preeceville, SK for 25 years. She did numerous hours volunteering in the village of Stenen for various activities as well as Sask Housing for 33 years. In 2004, Roman and Linda had started a new adventure, side by side, running Ray’s Auction Service for 15 years until 2019 when Covid hit.
Linda had a kind heart; she would extend a helping hand whenever needed. In Linda’s spare time, she enjoyed baking, sewing, and camping, as well as visiting with her friends. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family – especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Linda is predeceased by her father, Roy Swanson in 1998; and mother, Peggy Swanson in 2021.
She will be remembered by her husband, Roman Motilaga; her daughters, Raelynn (Joe) and Leisa; grandkids: Scott, Cory (Harmony), and Paige (Austin); great grandkids: Parker and Winter Motilaga, and Ezmeryah; her brothers, Larry (Linda) and Bill (Lorna); and her sister, Judy (Chester); as well as many other family members.
