It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Wanda Marie Gabriel (Roger), who passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2024. She is survived by her children, Herbert, Kevin, Delores, Stephanie, Elizabeth and Sidney.
Born on March 15th 1947 in Springhill Nova Scotia to Madeline Cain and Edmond Roy Gabriel. A house full of love and music.
Beloved sister to Violet, Keith, Carson,Dolores, Wayne,Valerie and Ricky.
She was blessed to have 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She also was a stepmother and godmother which she cherish those roles.
She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing and in so, spread her love of music to her children, to which we are eternally grateful.
Times were not always easy but she fought through those times and continued to fight to the end, remarking the doctors and nurses who lovingly took care of her,
We would like you to thank the amazing staff at the hospitals and the Teresa Dellar palliative care centre to their patient and loving care they gave to you dear mother,
A celebration of her life will take place on October 25th, 5pm-9pm at the Actuel funeral home, located on Verdun and 1st avenue. Please join us on her journey home.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Teresa Dellar palliative care Center in Kirkland Quebec.
