Denise, born February 11, 1951 to Eleonore Clarke and Paul Duhamel, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 13, 2024 at the age of 73 at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
In addition to her parents, Denise was predeceased by her brother Richard and her niece Christine. She is survived by her sister Lise, sons John (Echo) and Claude, granddaughter Alexandra (Tony), grandson Andrew as well as her nephews Kent and Richard. She will be deeply missed by her many relatives and friends.
Growing up Denise worked hard to provide for her 2 boys. As a single mom, she made sure they were loved and cared for, no matter what.
Most of all, she made sure that anyone who stepped into her house felt loved and welcomed. That’s just who she was, and we all loved her for being that way.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday May 03 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Actuel Service Funéraire in Verdun.

Denise, née le 11 février 1951 d’Éléonore Clarke et de Paul Duhamel, est décédée paisiblement le samedi 13 avril 2024 à l’âge de 73 ans à l’Hôpital Royal Victoria.
Outre ses parents, Denise repose maintenant auprès de son frère Richard et de sa nièce Christine. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa sœur Lise, ses fils John (Echo) et Claude, sa petite-fille Alexandra (Tony), son petit-fils Andrew, ainsi que ses neveux Kent et Richard. Elle manquera beaucoup à ses nombreux parents et amis.
En grandissant, Denise a travaillé dur pour subvenir aux besoins de ses 2 garçons. En tant que mère célibataire, elle veillait à ce qu’ils soient aimés et pris en charge, quoi qu’il arrive.
Surtout, elle veillait à ce que toute personne entrant dans sa maison se sente aimée et accueillie. C’est exactement qui elle était et nous l’aimions tous pour être ainsi.
Une célébration de sa vie aura lieu le vendredi 03 mai de 17h00 à 21h00 au salon Actuel Service Funéraire de Verdun.
