Lyndon Leigh McKelvey – dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend – passed away at the Magog Hospital on Wednesday, November 08, 2023. Born on September 04, 1927 to Donald and Roberta McKelvey in Cherry River. He was the eldest of six children.
Lyndon was married to Phyllis Buzzell (pre-deceased) and they had eight children. He is Survived by his present wife Louise; and children Miles (Ella) Juanita, George, Randy (Nancy) Tom (Nancy) Annita (Gordon) Tim (Anne) Glen (Heidi) Donna (Murray) Cathy (Tim)) Lorne (Debbie) David (Pre-Deceased) 26 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren and one Great, Great Grandson, his brother Stanley (Barbara) and Sisters Eva (Roger pre-deceased) Ella May (Richard pre-deceased) Peggy and Margaret (pre-deceased and many other family members.
A special thank you goes to the dedicated staff at Manoir Stanstead for the six years he resided there. Also, a special thank you to the Magog Hospital Doctors, Nurses and staff for their care and compassion that they provided during his final days.
A Funeral Service will be announced at a later date.
