Obituary of Doris Stephens (nee Beattie)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a great mother, Doris Ethel, on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Elwin Stephens. Beloved daughter of the late Lillian and Melvin Beattie of Bristol, Quebec. A dear twin sister to Doreen (late Ron Greene). Sister to Sharron (Garry Grice), Virtue (Arthur Evans) and Paul. She will be sadly missed by her only son David Stephens (Amber Leclaire). Remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Staff and Doctors at The Perth and Smith Falls Hospital and The Brockville General Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church Cemetery in Campbell’s Bay, Quebec on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. A celebration of life and Luncheon to take place immediately following the burial in the Lions Hall.
