Major laisse dans le deuil ses filles Mélissa et Catherine Major, son gendre Benjamin Tremblay-Lapointe, ses deux petits-enfants Mirabelle et Éli Tremblay-Major, ses deux frères Floyd et Lloyd Major ainsi que leur conjointes Carmen Sauvé et Lise Major, ses deux chiens adorés Charlie et Frida, ses neuveux et nièce ainsi que de nombreux parents et ami(e)s.
