Outre son épouse ainsi que sa mère, M. Armstrong laisse dans le deuil ses deux enfants: Noémie Armstrong (conjoint Jérémie Couture) et Francis Armstrong (conjointe Sabrina Chicoine); ses deux petits-enfants: Zachary Couture et Julia Armstrong; son frère Alain Armstrong; ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs; ses neveux et ses nièces ainsi que de nombreux parents et amis (es).
La famille tient à remercier tout le personnel du centre hospitalier de Rouyn-Noranda pour les bons soins prodigués.
