It is with heavy hearts that the family announce Usher’s peaceful passing on Friday, January 19, 2024.Beloved husband of the late Gloria for sixty-six years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Maureen and Fred, and Ilise. Cherished “Ushey” of his grandchildren, Earl and Max, Ricky and Katy, Sam and Aly, Josh, and Max. Son of the late Ida and the late Mayer Beigleman. Dear brother of Morris, Benny, Harry, and the late David. He will be sadly missed by his many nephews and nieces.
Beyond his dedicated service to the Beth Zion Synagogue as its former President, Usher was known for his infectious love of humor. An aficionado of the art of telling a good joke, he had an innate ability to bring joy and laughter to any gathering. His witty anecdotes and charming demeanor made him a cherished presence to everyone who met him.
A heartfelt thank you for the love and adoration given to Usher by his caregivers at Lev-Tov, as well as the Azoulay family for their kindness and professionalism. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Memorial Park, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 6980 Cote Saint-Luc Rd. in the Atrium from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
