Peacefully, at home, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in her ninety-eighth year. Beloved wife of the late Marius for sixty-one years. Devoted and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jessica Weis, Rhona and Dr. Errol Stern. Adored ‘Mama’ of Justin and Katrina, Jeremy and Alexandra, Sean and Tracey, Lindsay and Ben, Brandon, Gregory and Jessica. Very proud ‘Mama Sara’ of Winn and Maisie. Dear sister-in-law of the late Rita Thurston, and the late Shelley Halpern. Sara was blessed to have the personal care of her loving son-in-law, Errol, which allowed her to remain at home with dignity. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Sara’s caregivers, Analyn, Gloria, and Gina, for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Section, de la Savane.
