Peacefully, in her eighty-eighth year, on Friday, December 29, 2023 (18 Tevet, 5784). Incredible mother and mother-in-law of Shani Brownstein and Eli Bitan, Charles Brownstein and Shauna Theroux. Proud Grammy of Zach and Ayelet, Jordan, and Moses. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Dorothy Goldin Rosenberg, Lee Ann and Tsvi Gallant, Michael Z”L and Tania Goldin. Loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Daughter of Azar Z”L and Ray Z”L Goldin. Mimi will be missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Josie, Imelda, Armie, Rowena, and Nelly for their care and compassion. Much gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at K6 and the Palliative Care Unit of the Jewish General Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, December 31 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva Sunday following burial until 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mincha/Ma’ariv at 4:00 p.m. daily.
