Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Devoted husband of Freda Lang for sixty-two years. Loving father of Joseph and Hadassah, and the late Maureen. Proud Papa of Shira Esty, Atara, Mutty, Perly, Becky, Zissy & Dovidl. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Merle Bassel, Shirley and the late Ben Meltzer. Special uncle of Michael, Donald, and Jamie Meltzer; Mark, Alan, and Howard Bassel and their significant others. Irwin will be missed by his family, many dear friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
