C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Stefanos (Steve) Katsanis. Notre époux, père, papou, frère et oncle bien-aimé s’est éteint paisiblement le mercredi 18 octobre 2023 avec sa famille aimante à ses côtés.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée Katina, ses enfants Emmanuel (Hope), Antonia, Kalliopy (Nektarios), Alexandros, John, George (Anna), ses petits-enfants Mareena, Stefanos, Niko, et Panagiotis, sa sœur Margarita à Outremont et ses 5 frères et sœurs en Grèce.
Né à Naxos en Grèce le 11 septembre 1933, Stefanos est arrivé à Québec au Canada au début des années 50. Il avait un engagement inébranlable et un amour sans fin pour sa femme depuis 66 ans. Doté d’un fort esprit d’entreprise, il a fondé Pizza Richelieu au milieu des années 60 et a construit une belle vie pour sa famille. C’était un homme intelligent, bien informé, généreux et bon.
Les funérailles auront lieu le vendredi 27 octobre à 12 h à la cathédrale grecque orthodoxe Saint-Georges, 2455, Côte Sainte-Catherine, Montréal (Québec) H3T188, puis au cimetière Mont-Royal.
