Paisiblement et entouré de ses proches, à l’hôpital Pierre Boucher, est décédé le 28 février 2024 à l’âge de 80 ans, M. Émilien Lavoie, conjoint de Céline Girard. Il était le frère de feu Nicole et Lorraine Lavoie.
Il laisse dans le deuil, outre sa conjointe bien aimée, ses belles-sœurs et beaux-frères : Claude Trudeau (feu Lorraine), Pierrette (Bertrand Cloutier), Louise (Raymond Girard) et André (Pierrette Bergeron), ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces, parents et ami(e)s.
