Il était le père de: David Lavoie (Marilyn Simard-Poulin) et feu Jonathan (leur mère Mme Louise Perron).
Il était le grand-père de: Olivier et Gabriel Lavoie
Il était le frère de: Réjean Lavoie, Marc (Danielle Lavoie), Johanne, Claire (Louis Lavoie), Nicole et Clarence (Ève-Marie Lortie).
Il laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux neveux et nièces, cousins, cousines, parents et ami·es.
