It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia MacIntyre on July 7th in Montreal just days before her eighty-second birthday.
Predeceased by her husband Max Ellen, she will be greatly missed by her son, Christopher Clegg (Karen), and her sister Linda Sheshko (John), grandchildren Daniel and Sarah, nephews Andy and Daniel, nieces Jennifer and Dana as well as by the many other family and friends whose lives she touched over the years.
Pat was born and lived her entire life in Montreal, a city she loved and saw as the greatest in Canada. She enjoyed a successful career as a model and fashion consultant, working at both the World’s Fair (Expo 67) and the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. After leaving the fashion industry, she worked as a media salesperson before starting her own skin care business which she successfully ran for over 35 years.
A lover of art, in her later years she pursued a passion for abstract painting and created many lovely works of art which she shared with family and friends. Friends who would like to have one of these as a memento are encouraged to reach out.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will take place on Saturday, 20 July, from noon till 4:00 PM (welcome: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. words of remembrance: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. & reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.) at the Voluntas funeral home at 4695 Boul. St. Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
