It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Chamberlain on Sunday February 4th, 2024 at 60 years of age after his courageous battle with aggressive pancreatic cancer.
Loving husband of 38 years to Zabia Dean Chamberlain, beloved father to Noorjahan (Mathieu) and Alia (Louis-Étienne), proud granpapa to Elinor, Jules and Madeleine. He will be greatly missed by his mother-in-law Salima and all his brothers and sisters in the Chamberlain, Hooper and Dean families.
He will forever be remembered for his gentle nature, his sense of humor and his love of life.
Tom was held in high regard by all who knew him. He was a devoted family man and passionate about family genealogy. Tom lived an active life; he played hockey for most of his life, he enjoyed swimming and biking. At home, he could be found with his nose in a historical fiction novel, in the garden or peering over a puzzle. Most of all, Tom loved spending time with his daughters and his grandchildren. He was a loving and caring man, who treasured his family.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday February 12th, 2024 at the chapel of LES JARDINS DU SOUVENIR FUNERAL HOME located at 75 Blvd. Fournier, Gatineau. The family will be present at 9:30am to receive condolences.
In honour of Tom’s joyous nature, guests are encouraged to wear colours that reflect happiness and celebration.
