C’est avec grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de madame Alice Rock (née Plante), survenu paisiblement chez-elle le 9 novembre 2023, à l’âge de 98 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Édouard Plante et de feu Solange Dubuc et l’épouse de feu Charles (Chuck) Rock. Elle a rejoint son amour, Chuck, avec qui elle a partagé 40 ans de sa vie.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son fils Carl Cheslock (Jocelyne Chartrand) et ses petits-enfants : Bruce (Dominique Guy) et Patrick ainsi que ses 5 arrières-petits-enfants et 1 arrière-arrière-petite-fille.
Elle était la soeur de : feu Jeannette (feu Aurèle Proulx), feu Fernande (feu Maurice Proulx) et feu René.
Elle laisse également dans le deuil sa belle-sœur Marion (feu Hans Bauer) de Calgary ainsi que les petits-enfants et arrières-petits enfants de celle-ci : Michael (Sharlene), Andrew, (Rofina) et Shannon (Duane).
Elle manquera à nombreux neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines, autres parents et amis (es).
La famille désire remercier le CLSC de Val-des-Bois et les infirmières du CLSC. En particulier, la Dre Valérie Guilbeault ainsi que Patricia, Michelle et Angèle pour leur dévouement et les bons soins prodigués.
La famille recevra les condoléances, en présence des cendres, le samedi 9 décembre 2023, de 10 h 00 à 11 h 00 en l’église Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde au 579, route 309 à Val-des-Bois suivra une messe au même endroit à 11 h 00.
Une réception aura lieu par la suite à la salle communautaire de Val-des-Bois.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Rock (née Plante). She passed away at home on November 9th, 2023. Daughter of the late Édouard Plante and the late Solange Dubuc. She was predeceased by her loving husband Charles (Chuck) Rock. She joined her love, Chuck, with whom she shared 40 years of her life.
She leaves to mourn her son Carl Cheslock (Jocelyne Chartrand) and her grandchildren: Bruce (Dominique Guy) and Patrick as well as her 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Dearest sister of the late Jeannette (late Aurèle Proulx), the late Fernande (late Maurice Proulx) and the late René.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law Marion (late Hans Bauer) of Calgary as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Michael (Sharlene), Andrew, (Rofina) and Shannon (Duane).
She will be missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins, other family and friends.
The family would like to thank the CLSC of Val-des-Bois and the CLSC nurses. In particular, Dr. Valérie Guilbeault as well as Patricia, Michelle and Angèle for their dedication and the good care provided.
The family will receive condolences, in the presence of the ashes, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde church at 579, route 309 in Val-des-Bois. A mass will follow at the same location at 11:00 a.m.
A reception will take place at the Community Hall of Val-des-Bois after the service.
