Il laisse dans le deuil, outre son épouse Irene, ses filles: Dianne (Hal Newman), Nancy (Martin-Charles Plouffe). Ses petits-enfants:Sophie Brunelle-Newman (Mike), Emma Brunelle-Newman (Quentin), Charles-Olivier Plouffe (Eva), Justine Plouffe, Jacob Plouffe et Viviane Plouffe. Son frère René Brunelle (feu Ginette Therrien), son neveu Serge Brunelle (Lynda Tanguay), sa nièce Line Brunelle ainsi que d’autres parents et amis.

In Sherbrooke, on November 14, 2024, Mr. Donald Brunelle died at the age of 83. He was the husband of Irene Cromwell and lived in Coaticook.
The family will welcome relatives and friends to the Charron et fils funeral home on Sunday, November 24 from noon to 3 p.m. A farewell ceremony will be celebrated at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Burial at the St-Edmond cemetery will take place on Monday, November 25.
He leaves to mourn, in addition to his wife Irene, his daughters: Dianne (Hal Newman), Nancy (Martin-Charles Plouffe). Her grandchildren: Sophie Brunelle-Newman (Mike), Emma Brunelle-Newman (Quentin), Charles-Olivier Plouffe (Eva), Justine Plouffe, Jacob Plouffe and Viviane Plouffe. His brother René Brunelle (late Ginette Therrien), his nephew Serge Brunelle (Lynda Tanguay), his niece Line Brunelle as well as other relatives and friends.
