It is with a heart full of cherished memories that we announce the peaceful passing of Stephen Paul Simms on May 24, 2024, at the Woodstock Hospital. Born on June 16, 1951, in Cape Breton, Stephen lived an adventurous and optimistic life, marked by a thoughtful spirit and countless acts of kindness.
Stephen’s passion for fixing things led him to a fulfilling career as an automobile mechanic. He was a dedicated husband to his beloved wife Dinah, and a loving father to his daughters Angela and Amy, and sons Bryan and Jason. He will be missed by his brother’s and sister’s. Stephen also leaves behind his grandchildren, Nevaeh and Jackson.
An avid fisherman and enthusiastic traveler, Stephen was always a man on a mission, seeking new experiences and adventures. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the warm optimism that he carried with him throughout his wonderful journey. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
There will be a private family celebration of Stephen’s life at a later date.
