With heavy, and saddened hearts we announce the passing of Giovanni Luciani at the age of 69 surrounded by his family. Giovanni will be sorrowfully missed by his loving wife, Maria. His loving spirit is carried on by his children, Anthony (Christina), Nick, and Carlo. Adoring grandfather to, Alina and Alexander who carry on his passion for soccer and love of pastries. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Mario (Anna), and Gianfranco (Giovanna) as well as many nieces, nephews, and family near and far. Giovanni is now reunited in Heaven with his dear parents Antonio and Anna. In honour and memory of Giovanni Luciani, donations may be made to the CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY.
Visitations for Giovanni have been entrusted to the DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. 905.850.9500) and will commence on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. A second day of visitation will commence on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 6:00 – 9:00 pm
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on, Friday, July 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. and conducted at St. Philip Neri Parish (2100 Jane St., Toronto, On.). Immediately following Giovanni’s Mass an Interment Service at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, On.)
