Peacefully at Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, Joan (MacFarlane) Brewer of Bluevale passed away at the age of 81.
Mother of David & Terri Brewer of Austin, TX, Heather Brewer & Darren Bessey of Listowel, Mark & Diane Brewer of Waterdown and Sarah Brewer & Brennan Jack of Deep River.
Nanny of Scott Monahan and Lachlan Brewer, Quinnton and Liam Bessey, Mason and Mitchell Brewer, Ethan and Abby Bakewell and Brooklyn Jack.
Sister-in-law of Helen MacFarlane of Lucan, Karen & Harry Wilson of Belgrave, Gerry & Marg Brewer of Clifford, Maurice Bannerman of Clifford and Les & Bonnie Brewer of Field.
Predeceased by her husband Clifford Brewer, parents Mungo & Laura (Raynard) MacFarlane, brother Murray MacFarlane, parents-in-law Jack & Margaret Brewer, and brother-in-law Fred Brewer, sisters-in-law Nancy Bannerman and Shirley Brewer.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, July 21st, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Bluevale United Church on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
