Obituary of Shirley Annette Goulet
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Goulet (nee Brouilette) on December 29, 2024, after a short battle with cancer, joyfully reuniting with her husband George.
She was born to Gloria and Roy on March 7, 1945, in Tecumseh, Ontario, the oldest of 5 children. Starting a successful house cleaning business followed by a thriving real estate career, that many in the family have followed, she never lost focus on being a loving, supportive mother first. Her love of God and family shined through. She will be remembered for her patience, kindness, generosity to everyone she met, and putting others needs above her own.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her children Terra (Randy), Mike (Pam), Chris (Jody), Joe, John (Paula), Tom (Melissa), Andre (Angela), Denis (Jill) and Rachelle (Chris). Also remembered by her brothers and sisters; Diane (John), Gloria (Ron), Nancy (late Larry), Don (Helen), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many others who she met throughout her life.
A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will take place at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel on Saturday, Jan 4th, 2025 from 1:30pm until 4:00pm with words of remembrance at 4:00pm.
A private inurnment at St. Anne’s Cemetery will be held at a later date.
