Dr. Ruth Markovic Kuhlmann
Passed away with family by her side on April 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Devoted wife of 57 loving years to Peter Kuhlmann. Beloved mother to Anthony, Tania and Nicola. Cherished grandma to Leila, Ryan, Hudson and Boyd. She reunites with her parents Ernest and Martha Markovic, and siblings Julius Martin, Sylvia Martin and Eva Markovic. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.
Ruth was a true trailblazer of her time. She was a dedicated hard worker being the first full time female Physician in Windsor, practicing for 53 years. Specializing in Pediatrics and Cosmetics. She was a proud entrepreneur creating her own business; Cygnus Clinic. She was the head of the Board of Ethics and Credentials. Ruth was known for her sharp mind and playful wit. She will be know for setting many milestones, including being the first practicing physician while pregnant. She will always be remembered by the many families she helped.
Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 2pm – 5pm and 7pm – 9pm. In Ruth’s wishes a private service will take place.
