Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 7, 2024 at the age of 67 and is reunited with his furry friend, Tanner.
Loving husband and best friend of Cheryl for 42 years. Cherished Dad of Corey (T.J.) McWilliams and Nicole Futko (Wade). Proud Pepa of Thomas. Predeceased by his parents Rita and Johnny Futko and siblings Wayne, Gary (Patty), and Randy and sister-in-law Colleen. Survived by siblings Roger (Janet), Denise, and Darlene (Gerry) and siblings-in-law Colleen, Bonnie (Al), Chuck (Sue), Sandy (late Ray), and Susie (Bob). He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ricky was an Auto Body Man for the City of Windsor for 29 years. He liked his old cars, music, road trips with Cheryl and spending time with family. He will be remembered for his fun loving outlook on life. Ricky would want to know that people are sharing funny stories and memories and cherished the time he spent with them.
Special thanks to the team at HDGH Palliative care and the nurses and doctors at WRH Ouellette Campus for their kindness and compassion. Donations in memory of Ricky, may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
Visitation will take place at Families First in South Windsor on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. Friends and family are welcome to gather for the funeral service on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Cremation to follow.
