Peter Wallace Sinden, was born on January 9, 1937 in Southampton, England. Peter immigrated to Canada during WWII on The Queen Mary. Peter passed away on November 1st, 2024, after a brief stay at HDGH in Windsor, Ontario. Beloved Father of Kevin & Brigitte, Dawn & Stan, Ken & Julie. Cherished Grandfather of Jennifer & Jay, Stephanie, Tyler, Kristen & Cal and two Great Grandchildren Zoé and Jaxon. Dear Brother of Paddie (Annie), Les (Jane), and predeceased by his Step-Sister Jane. Peter will be fondly remembered by his Nieces, Nephews, as well as many long-time friends. Remembered dearly by his former wife, Betty Sinden (Mike Gagnon).
Peter was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. His desire to travel was a gift that he passed on to his family. Peter also enjoyed golfing with his buddies, and being the Groundskeeper at Hydeaway Golf Course. Peter was a history and nature buff, and was able to talk at length about either subject.
