Obituary of Nancy Elizabeth Palmeri (nee Thom)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Elizabeth Palmeri (nee Thom) who passed away at Met Hospital in Windsor on August 30, 2024, at the age of 76. Nancy recently celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary to her best friend and the love of her life, Peter Palmeri. Loving mother of Francesca Palmeri and Philip Palmeri. Proudest grandma of Luka, Niko, and Viktor. Sister in law of Gina (Tom) Vilardi, the late Sebastiano (surviving Maria) Palmeri, and sister of the late Roger Thom. Daughter of the late Alister (Mary) Thom (nee Plumber) and daughter in law of Diane Palmeri. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Nancy will be remembered for her years working as a bank clerk, and assisting Peter with office work for their successful landscaping business. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and travelling to many destinations. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 4, 2023 at Windsor Chapel Banwell from 2:00pm until 5:00pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday September 5 at 11:00am with an interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery to follow. Special thank you to the caring staff at Met Hospital.
