It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Leonardo Liolli on January 7, 2024. Loving husband of Giovanna (nee Liburdi) and sons David (Nadine) and late Giancarlo (Josie) Liolli. Loved and cherished by his grandchildren Gianni, Aislinn (Matt), (late Alishia) and Morgan (Tom). Great grandfather to Evans.
Predeceased by his parents Leonello and Domenica and siblings Paolo (late Giovanna), Vincenza De Biase (late Alberto), Luciano, Americo, Luigi (late Angelina), Angelo, Giulio. Survived by siblings Leandro (Giselle), sisters in law Krista, Giovanna and Linda, Pietro (Augusta), Paola Mezzoni (late Luigi). Brother and sister in laws, (late) Teresa and Giacomo Aversa, (late) Marianna and Michele Tiberia, Domenico Micheli (late Anna), Elena (late Giuseppe Liburdi), Domenico (Bianca) Liburdi and numerous nieces and nephews.
Immigrated from Ceccano, Italy in April, 1959 arriving in Windsor where he met up once again with his soon to be wife Giovanna. Using the skills he learned from his father, he quickly began working as a framing carpenter in Ottawa. Eventually he would return to Windsor where he completed a rewarding life and eventual retirement with Chrysler. His handy skills were put to good use helping his many family members and friends with various construction and renovation projects over the years. His biggest joys; however, were the times he spent with his garden, wine making and playing with his grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON (519) 253-7234 on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 3:00PM-5:00PM and 7:00PM-9:00PM. Funeral mass on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor). Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
