It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Jim Duchene on November 4, 2024 at 89 years of age.
Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret Ann (nee Joy) for 67 years. Dearest father of Michael (Nancy Hannon), Denise (Johann Burger), Diane (Jim Westenberg) and Karen (Steve Zsargo). Adoring grandfather of Emily, Alysha, Shane, Katie, Melina, Alex and Philip and adoring great grandpa to Sloane. Predeceased by his dear parents, Catherine and Alphonse Duchene and siblings, Alphonse (Nancy), Reinette, Virginia Benedet and Jack. Dear brother in-law to Leo Benedet, Judy Duchene, Connie & Ed Bastien and Tom Joy (late Mary). Jim will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Jim was a practicing accountant. He worked at various Windsor businesses. He was a life-member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, a member of the St. Paul’s Ushers Club and the Windsor Roseland Rotary Club.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 2 pm-4 pm and 6 pm-8 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave South Windsor 519-969-5841.
Family and friends are invited to St. Paul’s Church (5885 Malden Rd. Windsor Ontario) on Saturday, November 9, 2024 for visiting from 10:30 am until time of funeral mass at 11 am. Please note, there is no parking permitted in the Rexall parking lot. We ask that you park across the street at the Zehrs and to use the crosswalk to safely make your way to the church. Cremation to follow.
