Obituary of Elmer Joseph Castonguay
CASTONGUAY, Elmer Joseph
Passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (2016). Father to the late Daniel (2013) (wife Colleen), late Debbie (2023), late Randy (2017), David and Cathey Simpson (husband John). Cherished papa of Matthew (1977), Ami (Rick), Robert, Jody (Dave), Annie (Adam), Jessica, Derek (Amanda), Janet (Seanasea) and Ashley, Ellie (Shannon). Two-papa to late Phoenix (2005), Sage, Amber, Cooper, Hazel, Harrison, Ryker, Holly and Mason. Dear brother of Andy Waggott (wife Janet) and late Larry Laframbroise (2000). Retiree from the City of Windsor after 35 years of service. He loved spending his time gathering recycle in his neighbourhood. As well as building miniature houses out of popsicle sticks and even donated them to Canadian Transportation Museum Heritage Village. Elmer was very social and loved to meet new people. In honour of Elmer’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service to be held. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
