It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Elia surrounded by her family on Monday, November 4th, 2024 at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her loving husband Antonio “Tony” Conceicao of 31 years. Devoted mother of Elia Farao (2015), Manny Farao (Mary Lou), Theresa Farao-Winter (George), Maria Farao-Grasso (Tim), and stepdaughter Isabell Taylor (Renard). Elia was loved and cherished by all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren “gg”. They all held a special place in her heart. Also survived by her sister Dorlice Cimbron, lifetime friend Alda DaPonte, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Elia’s Portuguese culture and Catholic faith kept her strong throughout life’s difficult challenges along with her love of family, friends and service to the community.
She loved cooking traditional meals, and volunteering her time at the Portuguese Community of Windsor (casa do espirito santo).

Visitation will be held at Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave) on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 from 9:30am until time of service at 11am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
