Died peacefully in the tender expert care of the nursing staff of Hôtel-Dieu Grace’s palliative wing. Beloved husband and true partner in life of Maureen (nee Bolton) for over 65 years. Loving and supportive father of Carl and Janine (Glenn). Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Strong, independent, and full of humour, he was happy in his home until a fall on Thanksgiving Day revealed an underlying condition that he could not solve and make right.
Edmond was a computer analyst with Ford Motor Company until retirement and good habits gave him time to be in his garden and enjoy many travels with Maureen.
He was, infuriatingly, known for going alone in euchre with a terrible hand but still making all the tricks. We have no doubt he’s trying that on as he joins his parents and siblings at the great card table in the sky.
A private cremation is taking place as per his wishes. Donations can be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B).
