It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Doug Cahill on December 1, 2024 at 69 years of age.
Loving husband to Janice of 46 years. Cherished father to Douglas and Jenn. Dear son of Mary Ann and the late Gordon Cahill. Brother to, Patrick, Michael (Diane), Debra (Joe) and Gord (April). Doug will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Doug retired after a long and dedicated career with Ford as a Millwright. He had a passion for playing softball, drag racing and fishing at the family cottage. Doug always enjoyed a good competitive game night with family and friends, playing euchre or cribbage. He will be remembered for his dark sense of humour and sarcasm, always quick with a quip.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841). Cremation to follow.
