Unexpectedly, with his loving family by his side, on October 30, 2024, at the age of 81. Predeceased by his companion Janice Cooper (2020). Dearest step-father of Allan Cooper (Lorri), Sheri Nantais (Steve), Chris Cooper (Rebecca, 2022). Cherished grandfather of Tyler (Sherry), Dale (Courtney), Joshua (Kayla), Spencer, and Meagan. Will be lovingly remembered by his 5 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Margaret McCann, John Woods, and predeceased by Sylvia Vahed (survived by Doc. Vahed), Carol Travers (survived by Steve). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
David worked for many years in the Tool and Die trade, and retired from that profession. He enjoyed being a handy man. “if Papa can’t fix it, nobody can.’ David was a Mason Shriner for many years, dating back to 1991. He belonged to Harmony Lodge #579. Special thanks to Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus ICU Nurses Louisa, Marla, Marlene and Dr. N. Malus for their compassion, care and support.

Visitation Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until time of a Mason’s Service at 7:30 p.m. at Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841).
