78 years of Commerce Twp., Michigan. Born in Birkirkara, Malta, to the late Vincent and Doris Mamo, moved to Canada in 1956. Carmen is the loving mother of Donald (Monica) Filiault and the late Monica Filiault. Sister of Louise (Phil) Martin, Wilfred (Margaret) Mamo, Elizabeth (Wilfrid) Blais, Rita (Brian) Odette, and Denis (Annette) Mamo. Aunt to Christine, Lana, Neil, Shauna, Rob, Paul, Justin, Lisa, Ryan, Bryce and Baily.
Carmen worked for many years at the GM Trim Plant and managed Pit Martin’s Restaurant. Carmen will always be remembered for her immense love of her children, travel, cooking and enjoying God’s beautiful creation.
Visitation Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 10 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. John Vianney Church, 385 Dieppe St., Windsor, ON. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 3260 Dougall Avenue, South Windsor (519) 969-5841.
