It is with the heaviest hearts we let our family and friends know that suddenly and very unexpectedly William Everette McMurray (AKA Billy, Uncle Billo, Billy Pickles), passed away on October 24, 2024. Billy was an amazing son, brother, uncle, great uncle and nephew.
He was a loyal loving friend to many all over the world. He was semi-retired these past few years and enjoyed cooking, baking and loved helping family and friends and anyone in need. He was always the first one to offer help with home renos. He took great pride in looking after his mom’s gardens and keeping them looking beautiful.
Billy was predeceased by his mom, Joan, in 2019, who will be waiting for him with open arms. He is survived by and greatly missed by his pops (Fred), and siblings Wendi, Wanda, Shawn, and their families. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
Donations in Billy’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Burlington Humane Society would be appreciated by his family.
