Phyllis Helen Albanese, born on June 6, 1930, in Morewood, Ontario, peacefully departed from this world on March 27, 2024, just months shy of her 94th birthday. She was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Vera Reveler, and the cherished sister of Bert Reveler (spouse Joan).
Preceded in death by her loving husband, George Albanese, Phyllis leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She was the nurturing mother of Michael (Anita), Anne (Murray), Angela (Brian), and Thomas (Lisa). Phyllis took immense joy in her role as a doting grandmother to Margaret, George, Alexander, Sarah, and Paul, and as a great grandmother to Olivia, Adaline, Ewan, and Grace.
Phyllis was known for her various talents and passions. First and foremost, her dedication as a nurse left an indelible mark on those she cared for. While she may have been challenged in the kitchen, she was a master seamstress whose skillful hands produced countless quilts. Many found comfort and warmth under her creations. Additionally, her talent as a painter captured the beauty of life.
Beyond her talents, Phyllis will be remembered for her extraordinary kindness and generosity. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and freely gave her time to those in need. Family was the cornerstone of her life, and her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
In the hearts of her loved ones, Phyllis will forever remain a guiding light. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched.
Farewell, dear Phyllis; we will miss you “big time.” Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
