O’SHAUGHNESSY, Michael J. – It is with deep sadness the family of Michael O’Shaughnessy announces his peaceful passing at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in his 85th year. Beloved husband for 63 years of Theresa (nee Chartrand) O’Shaughnessy. Loving father of Kelly Beaulieu (David), Todd O’Shaughnessy (Debra) and Sean O’Shaughnessy. Cherished grandfather of Adam (Nanci), Emily (Aaron), Stephen, Brittany (Brandon) and Lauren (John) and loving great grandfather of Harrison, Julia, Vaira, Jensen, Beaudine, Isaac, Bethani, Brittani and Bridjett. Dear brother of Marg Dillon (late Donald), Alan O’Shaughnessy (late Rachel) and Lynn Joyce (Late Richard). He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Eveline and sister Patricia. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Michael moved to Welland in 1970 and proudly drove for Tallman Transport accident free until his retirement in 2003.
