Obituary of Marie Paule Hardy
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Paule Hardy on November 10, 2024, at the age of 94. Marie was born on November 20, 1929, in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario to Philemon and Rose Lamontagne.
She was the cherished wife of the late Francis Hardy, and a devoted mother to Claude (Annette), Suzanne (Denis Lanthier), and the late Jacques (Doreen) and Richard. Marie was a beloved sister to Aline (late Léonce), LouLou (late Don) and Ronnie (late Ginnette). Marie will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Darryl (Rebecca), Kristin, Craig (Anastasia), Taryn (Grant), Billy (Erin), and Jamie (Micheal), who brought her great joy throughout her life, as well as her 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Philemon and Rose and 7 siblings.
Marie was known for her love and support for her family, and she will forever reside in our hearts.
The family invites relatives and friends to gather for a time of remembrance and to share memories of Marie at WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main Street, Welland, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region would be greatly appreciated by the family.
