It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty (née Husar) on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Northland Pointe Long Term Care Home. Loving mother to Mike. Cherished grandmother to Ashley and John and Baba (great grandmother) to Jett and Swaye. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth.
Her family was her life, and we will surely miss her. Betty was employed at the Extended Care Unit of the Welland Hospital for many years. Her family will miss her great cooking and her joy for entertaining. The family wishes to thank the staff at Northland Pointe Long Term Care for their exceptional care and patience.
The family invites relatives and friends to join them in honouring Betty at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Monday, December 23, 2024 from 10 a.m. until service time in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Make a Wish Foundation or the War Amps would be greatly appreciated by the family.
