HANNELL, Douglas Ross – Passed away at the Welland Hospital on Friday November 29, 2024 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Anne (nee Burnette) Hannell. Loving father of Richard Hannell and Tammy Hannell. Cherished grandfather of Dean Karr, Jayde Hannell and Sylvia Hannell. Dear brother of Billy Hannell (late Betty) and Huey Dempsey (Denise) and brother-in-law of Clem Laquerre. Predeceased by his sisters Shirley Laquerre and Betty Kalailieff (Ed). He will be lovingly remembered by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Following Douglas’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 4, 383 Morningstar Avenue, Welland on Sunday, December 8th, 2024 from 1 – 4 p.m. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
