SHIRKIE, Bernard (Bernie)– Passed away suddenly with his loving wife by his side, on Friday, November 29th, 2024 at 75 years of age. Beloved husband of Teresa. Dear brother-in-law of Sandra Golden, Grace Spence, Gail McKay and Louis Golden. Dearest Uncle of Rachel, John, Mathew, Amy, Lena, Eric, Justin, Amanda, Darrel, Virginia, Craig, Jeff, Ashley, Charlotte, Curtis, Daniel, Phillip, Stephanie, Chris, James, Thomas and Jacob. He was predeceased by his brother Sandy, and in laws Eric, David, Karen, Betty, Teddy and Gary. Bernie will be lovingly remembered by his many extended family members and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at H L Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main St. Welland on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. when a service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel.
