Obituary of Ann Morris
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Morris (née Michelucci) on November 6, 2024, at the age of 88. Cherished wife of the late Mervin Morris. Cherished mother to Anthony (Laura-Ann), Mark (Karen), Judy (Don Laprise) and the late Kelly. Dear sister to Mary, Lena the late Louise, the late Doonie, the late Pat and the late Jean. Ann will be sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren; Brandon (Alyssa), Mallory (Nick), Joshua, Ryan, Christopher and 6 great-grandchildren; Colton, Grace, Anna, Elliot, Hugo and the late Liam.
Ann was very proud of her work as a crossing guard for Welland’s children. She also served as a member of the Catholic Women’s League and a eucharistic minister for St. Andrew’s church. Sincere thanks to all the nurses and caregivers at Royal Rose.
The family invites relatives and friends to join them in honouring Ann at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
