PERRY, Amelia (Marton) – The Lord called Amelia Perry to eternal peace on December 29th, 2023 at the age of 93. Surrounded by her family and the loving and amazing staff at The Woodlands of Sunset, who provided Amelia with excellent care and treated her like family for the last 9 ½ years. Predeceased by her husband Leon Perry (2014), her parents Steven and Rose Marton, her brother Frank Marton (Miami, FL), and her beloved son Steven MacDonald. Survived by her dear sister, Mary McLauchlin (Fred), their son Frederic (Sherri) and their children Paul and Christina.
Amelia will be deeply missed by her daughters, Diana Schneider and Deborah Armstong (nee MacDonald), her grandchildren Chris Schneider (Laura), Wendy Schneider, and Tiffany Walsh
and her great-grandchildren Ayden and Ashton Stout, Newt, Alec, Easton, Heiwa, and Kaede Schneider and Sierra Walsh-Fiore.
Amelia is also survived by Leon’s children, Carolyn Soni, Cindy Foster (Bob), Jim Perry, and the late Dan Perry, grandchildren Rob and Carolyn Foster, Tom, Sophie and Adam Perry and great-granddaughter Isla.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.L Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
