Obituary of Nancy Elizabeth Lehmann
Nancy passed away, peacefully at Hospice Waterloo Region Cook Family Residence, on Friday November 8, 2024, at the age of 72.
Loving mother of Michelle and husband Matthew Clarke and Melissa Lehmann and husband Justin Meyer. Cherished Grammy of Maelle, Macalla, and Mirinda Clarke.
Partner and companion of 11 years to Larry Thornton. She also held a special place in the hearts of Lawrance and Julia Thornton and their children Garrett, Everett, and Elliott Thronton.
Predeceased by Bruce Lehmann, her husband of 38 years and her parents Robert and Rita (Kennedy) Thomas.
Nancy made countless memories with her family and friends at their cottage on Saugeen Shores, especially soaking up the picturesque sunsets and gathering around the campfires. She enjoyed sharing stories and laughter as she watched her grandchildren roasting marshmallows. She spent hours during summer evenings tending to her many gardens around her home and cottage.
Special thanks to the care given by the staff at Grand River Hospital as well as the staff and volunteers at Hospice of Waterloo for making her finally moments on Earth as peaceful and calming as possible.
