Obituary of Mora Muriel May Baxter
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital – Freeport Campus, Kitchener, on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of Alan for 63 years. Loving mother of Derick, Mandy (Carl) Shultheiss, and Craig. Cherished grandmother of Melissa, Meghan, Melina (Mel), Colton (Kevin), John, and David. Great-grandmother of Marissa, Alexander, Chace, Mika, Willow, Harper, Tori, Parker, Owen, and Emerson. Dear sister-in-law of Heather (Gus) McCorqodale. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Victor Lawrence and Florence (Pilkey) James. A long-time member of Highland Baptist Church, Kitchener.
Visitation will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Highland Baptist Church, 135 Highland Rd. W, Kitchener, on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with the Rev. Amanda McCulloch officiating. A reception will follow the funeral service, with a light lunch in the Church Hall.
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, at a later date.
