Obituary of Mary Margaret Forwell (nee Voisin)
Left us for her heavenly home on Sunday, November 17, 2024, resided at Barnswallow Place, Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Forwell (2000).
Loving mother to her six children, Marilyn, Charlene, Randall, Bernard, Gordon, Mary Lou and her 25 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Rita Robinson.
Predeceased by her parents Louise (nee Lunz) and Robert Voisin; brothers Gerard, Rev. Lawrence SJ, Oliver (Br. Paul O.F.M.) Brother Alvin S.J., Jerome (Elsie), Stanley (Margaret), and her sister Corinne;
sons-in-law Jean Pierre Montminy, Murdock MacDonald and daughter-in-law Sue Forwell.
Mary’s family would like to thank the staff at Barnswallow Place for all their loving care and support.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 6 – 8 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 7:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Paul Voisin, C.R. officiating. A reception will immediately follow the mass in the Parish Hall. A private family interment will be held at St. Clement’s RC Cemetery, St. Clements.
