Obituary of Mabel Irene Sauder (nee Leis)
Mabel Irene Sauder (nee Leis) passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the age of 84.
Mabel leaves her dear husband Maurice, who cherished her for 64 years, a very special daughter Dawn, and Maury, the best son a mother could ever hope for. Mabel would like to thank her daughter-in-law Joanne for being a good wife and mother to Dustin (Sarah) and Trevor (Carly). She is also survived by her sisters Adelle and Ethel, and her brothers Edgar and Delton.
She is now reunited in heaven with her son Daryl, her angel. Mabel was also predeceased by her parents Allen and Mary Leis, sisters L. Marie, Lynetta, Minerva, and her dear Mary, and her brothers Lavercey, Llewellyn, Allan, Arthur, and Clifford.
Mabel will be remembered as a private and meticulous person. She enjoyed her flower garden, indoor plants, and made sure to keep up with current events. Together with her husband, she travelled to the southern United States for bluegrass festivals, and once took a memorable road trip to Alaska.
As per Mabel’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a funeral service. Condolences for the family and donations to the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth would be appreciated and may be arranged through www.erbgood.com.
